REmediaL STUDIES, Episode 13: Terry Pratchett's "Guards! Guards!"

The first segment in our Remedial Read-Along commences with a tale of a city on a river, of fantasy police, an (almost) incompetent secret society, a Noble Dragon, and a masterclass in fury-fueled comedy. Talking Points: what the heck is a Discworld, descent into cynicism in reverse, alignment as it informs character interaction, yet ANOTHER D&D story, does being lawful mean you must be loyal to an unlawful authority, a thing doesn't depend on your belief to be real (until it does), the price of believing in Good, and, hey, complacency can be its own kind of evil.
